Gold link jewelry is gold textile as jewelry - well that's how I think about my particular fascination with gold link. Beautiful handmade craftsmanship in solid 18K gold that looks like liquid gold on your wrist.
This one is Swedish, handmade in 1970, signed by goldsmith NSE. The link type is called x-link or sometimes a star link. The individually made links create little x’s where they are soldered together. Imagine the painstaking work that went into each and every solder. This is perfection!
The bracelet weighs a great 14.1 grams and measures 7.8 inches (20cm) long. A nice width at 8.5mm. Can be sized down by your local jeweler.
Piece has a well working and robust box clasp with double security eights. Very good vintage condition with normal age related wear.
So sophisticated yet totally wearable! Imagine how gorgeous this would look in a stack with your favorite bracelets.
